Error codes
Machine-specific fault codes (e.g., E01, E05, F2) displayed on the screen.
Category: Common Faults & Symptoms
Machine-specific fault codes (e.g. E01, E05, F2) shown on the display when something goes wrong. Every manufacturer uses different codes, and each one usually points to a specific component or sensor.
Why it matters — An error code is the machine telling you what's wrong, but only if you know how to read it. The user manual is the first place to check.
Good to know
- Save your manual digitally — Australia is a long way from European service centres, and manufacturer websites occasionally disappear.
- A code that returns immediately after a power cycle indicates a hard fault; an intermittent code is usually a sensor or wiring issue.
