Category: Accessories & Barista Tools
A specific shape of cleaning brush with a stiff, angled head designed to reach up into the group head and scrub the shower screen while the portafilter is removed. Bristles are usually nylon, with a long handle so your knuckles don't hit the group.
Why it matters — A standard bench brush can't reach the shower screen properly — the angle is wrong. A group brush gets in cleanly, sweeps oils off the screen, and pairs with a quick water flush to keep the brew path clean between shots.
Good to know
- Use after every busy session; in a café, between every milk drink during a rush.
- Bristles soften with heat — keep your group brush away from the cup warmer.
