Hario Switch
A V60 with a valve, similar concept to the Clever but the V60 shape.

A Hario V60 with a silicone valve in the base that lets you toggle between immersion (closed valve, like a Clever) and percolation (open valve, like a regular V60).
Why it matters — The Switch gives you both brewing styles in one dripper. You can immerse for body and forgiveness, then open the valve to filter — or use full percolation pour-over style. Useful for experimenting with hybrid recipes.
Good to know
- Standard V60 size-02 filters fit the Switch.
- Recipes from competition baristas (Tetsu Kasuya, Jonathan Gagné, others) often use hybrid steep-and-release sequences.
