Water pooling underneath the machine or visibly dripping from inside the case, not coming from the group head or portafilter.
Why it matters — Boiler leaks indicate a failed gasket, a cracked component, or — rarely but seriously — a split boiler. Don't ignore the symptom.
Good to know
- Most common cause: a perished boiler gasket, sight glass seal, or expansion valve. All cheap and replaceable.
- Open the side panels to locate the source. If water is escaping under pressure (visible spray), turn the machine off and book a service immediately — don't keep operating it.
